Selena Gomezis poking fun at herself.
“Typical,” she added on her Instagram Story about the image, which shows Gomez talking to Swift, 33, as the pair embrace.
It was a winning night for both close pals, however, with Swift taking home nine awards, including thecoveted video of the year prizefor “Anti-Hero.” Gomez, meanwhile, won the award for best afrobeats with Nigerian singer Rema for their track “Calm Down."

Swift was spotted being Gomez’s number one fan as she took to the stage with Rema to accept the award, with the singer seen jumping up and down, cheering andblowing kisses to her bestie.
“Thank you,” Gomez told the crowd. “Thank you so much Rema for believing in me and thank you for choosing me to be a part of such an incredible song that’s been able to break records. Thank you to all of you for listening, streaming. I could not be more honored. And I want to send all of my love to Nigeria, thank you.”
In the clip, Gomez could be seen pouting and blowing kisses for the camera, as well as strutting down a corridor to show off the full detailing of her dress, which included flowering vines and a thigh-high slit.

As well as video of the year, Swift’s “Anti-Hero” also won awards for best pop and song of the year.
Accepting the Moon Person for video of the year, the “Karma” singer told the crowd, “OK. This is unbelievable. This is… I just want to say that the fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me based on the memories that we’ve made recently.”

Swift, who donned a daring black Versace gown with a thigh-high slit, then went on to open up about her record-shatteringEras Tour, which recently finished its U.S. leg.
“I’ve just been on a tour that has been the most joyful and exhilarating experience,” she said. “And we’re not even halfway done with it. It’s really felt like the adventure of a lifetime this past year. I cannot believe that it was a year ago at the VMAs that I announced theMidnightsalbum. And all I have to say tonight is thank you. I’m blown away. Thank you so much to the fans. I love you so much.”
