Candace Bushnellis happy to seeKim Cattrallreturn to theSex and the Cityuniverse.
“When I heard the news I was happy and surprised,” Bushnell toldPage Six, noting that “a lot of people miss” the beloved character. “The fans love Kim and I think it will be great for the show. There was a piece missing. She was a major part of that girlfriend circle.”
Busnhell added that she “thinks it will be a great season,” following the announcement of Cattrall’s return. “I’m happy that Kim is going to go on there. I think it’s probably the greatest thing for the show,” she said.

Last week, Cattrallconfirmed that she would be making a cameoas Samantha in the finale of season 2 ofAnd Just Like That… —to fans’ huge delight.
The Golden Globe-winning actress was noticeably absent from the first season, after previously stating that she would not come back to the show after the first twoSATCmovies.
Bushnell toldPage Sixshe found Aidan coming back to be “interesting," adding: “It’s so real to me. It is like an ex-boyfriend could come back into your life. It is that the one who got away.”
