Barking news! The2021 Puppy Bowlhas found its pawfect hosts:Martha StewartandSnoop Dogg.
The dynamic duo will reunite for the annual canine-powered sporting event, airing onSuper BowlSunday onDiscovery+and Animal Planet ahead of the night’s big game.
Not only will Stewart and Snoop host the action-packed game, but the pair will also throw the ultimate tailgate party and root for the adoptable puppy players from rescuesAnnenberg Pet Space,Paw Works, andSPCA LA.
The lifestyle mogul, 79, and the rapper, 49, will both sport their own Puppy Bowl gear at the competition. Stewart will represent Team Ruff in an orange jersey while Snoop will back Team Fluff in a blue jersey.
Stewart and Snoop’s pooches will also be in attendance for the big event.
During the game, viewers can receive shoutouts from Stewart’s French Bulldogs, Crème Brûlée and Bête Noire, and Chow Chows Empress Qin and Emperor Han.
Snoop’s French Bulldogs, Juelz Broadus and Chalk, will also be available for fan messages.
During the three-hour special, 70 adoptable puppies from shelters across the northeast U.S. will compete for the coveted “Lombarky” trophy.

“With theWisdom Panel™ dog DNA test, we’ll find out what’s beyond those big puppy-dog eyes and how each dog’s breed mix might give them an advantage on the field,” a statement about the annual event reads. “We’ll see their skills play out in the brand-new GEICO Stadium, where these adoptable players have even more room to rumble and fumble!”

“Rufferee"Dan Schachner(who has been commentating on the Puppy Bowl for 10 years!) will be returning for the big game, and the adorable sporting event will also include “a special profile of actress and animal advocateKristen Bell, who has teamed up withAnnenberg PetSpacein Los Angeles to spend time with Java, a Labrador mix puppy looking for a fur-ever home to snuggle in.”
As always, the Puppy Bowl “celebrates adoptable pups in all their cuteness and showcases the incredible shelters and rescues, as well as their staffers, who dedicate their lives to helping animals find their loving homes,” the release states. “The adoption rate is at 100 percentas all puppies and kittens featured in Puppy Bowl to date have found their forever homes with loving families.”
Puppy Bowl XVII airs Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT on Discovery+ and Animal Planet, ahead of Super Bowl LV.
