Jenna Bush Hageris celebrating six bookish years!
Read with Jenna, theToday with Jenna and Friendshost’s book club, turned six years old on March 5. The club, which has over 86,000 members in itsFacebookgroup, connects readers through Bush Hager’s monthly book choice and facilitates compelling discussions. To mark the special occasion, Bush Hager invited 11 of her past authors on the show and thanked them for helping her book club come to life.
“I love all of you and some of our authors who aren’t here. Thank you so much for coming six years in,” she said, adding, “Read with Jenna has changed my life.”

Last year on the book club’sfifth anniversary, Bush Hager hosted a group of her authors on her show to pack up books to send to libraries in all 50 states.
At the time,Todayhost Craig Melvin highlighted the success that tends to follow Bush Hager’s picks: nearly two-thirds of the books gainedNew York Timesbestseller status, and more than half were optioned for an on-screen adaptation.

During last year’s segment, Bush Hager’s mother, former first lady Laura Bush, also extended a sweet message to her daughter to congratulate her on the lasting impact of her book club.
