Ancient cemetery

Burial 519
When the researchers came across the abused bambino , labeled " Burial 519 , " in Kellis 2 , nothing seemed out of the ordinary at first . But when they start brushing the backbone away , they noticed prominent fractures on the shaver ’s arms . The excavated in situ burial of 519 shown here .

The bambino ’s cadaver showed a complete transverse break of left humerus with some raw os growth , indicating some healing took station several weeks prior to death .
