Two unexpected Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members are linking up:Flavor FlavandBruce Springsteen!
The Public Enemy rapper attended Springsteen and the E Street Band’s concert at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Friday, where he was spotted letting loose and dancing in the crowd before meeting the Boss after the show and offering him praise.
After the performance, Flav met Springsteen, 74, backstage and greeted him with bows of respect. “What’s up, Bruce? This is such an honor, man! This is such an honor, bro! Man, man, man, many, many, many good blessings to you, bro,” he said, according toanother videoshared online.
“Thank you for all of the years of good music, leadership,” added the “Fight the Power” performer, before posing for photos with Springsteen.
While the two musicians may seem like a random pairing, they actually share a connection, as occasional E Street Band guitarist Tom Morello also performs in the supergroup Prophets of Rage alongside Chuck D of Public Enemy.

Springsteen’s T-Mobile Arena show featured a setlist including hits such as “Lonesome Day,” “Hungry Heart,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Dancing in the Dark” and “Born to Run,” among others.
Flav has been out and about to various events as of late, from multiple dates ofTaylor Swift’s Eras Tour to the 2024 Grammy Awards — where he spoke to the “Karma” superstar.
In an interview withtheLos Angeles Times, he recalled getting “some Taylor time” at the awards show. “The discussion [at the event] was about me congratulating her on all her success. And me being a big fan of hers, a big supporter of hers.”
“Having her acknowledge that her fan base ‘Swifties’ gavemea name, ‘King Swiftie,’” added Flav.
“I said, ‘You know they call me King Swiftie?’ She said, ‘I know!'” recalled theFlavor of Lovestar. “Yo, when I heard her say that, that was huge for me.”
