An impressive collection of 2,500 - yr - honest-to-goodness ancient Egyptian artefact was showcased today at the famous Saqqara necropolis .
The makeshift showing was located at the animal foot of the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara , accordingto the Associated Press . All token evidence today at the medium event particular date back to the Late Period of ancient Egypt ( around 664 to 332 BCE ) and were excavate at Saqqara , the necropolis ( graveyard ) associated with the ancient Egyptian capital of Memphis .
