Christine Quinn’s Husband Files Domestic

Christine Quinn’s husbandChristian Dumontethas filed for divorce.

The news comes weeks after he was arrested twice for violating temporary restraining orders.TMZwas first to report that Dumontet filed for divorce in the Superior Court of California on Friday, April 5.

PEOPLE reached out to reps for both Quinn, 35, and Dumontet, 44, but did not immediately hear back.

Dumontet is asking that a judge terminate the court’s ability to award support to Quinn, as well as separate their property and assets.

He is also requesting legal custody of their only child, Christian George. However, Dumontet did state that he would allow Quinn visitation rights.

He and the formerSelling Sunsetstar tied the knot in December 2019 beforewelcoming their sonin May 2021.

At the center of their ongoing dispute was analleged domestic violence incidentthat took place in their home in which Dumontet allegedly threw a bag with a glass bottle inside of it at Quinn on March 19. He was arrested following the alleged incident.

He was charged with assault with a “deadly weapon,” according to a statement from law enforcement.

The following day, Dumonte wasarrested for a second timeat their home, after allegedly violating an emergency protective order that had been put in place.

This resulted inQuinn’s request for a temporary restraining order. Dumontet laterfiled for a restraining order of his own, claiming “there was no glass in the bag.”

A judge recently approved Quinn’s request.

Her temporary restraining order for “domestic violence prevention” was approved on March 28 and stated thatDumontet had to vacate their shared Hollywood homewhere the alleged incident took place.

He must also not come within 100 yards (300 feet) of her, her home, her vehicle, her job, or their child’s “school or childcare.”

The order is in effect until a hearing scheduled for April 17.
