Running back Nick Chubb is likely out for the season after suffering a knee injury so gruesome broadcasters elected not to show the replay during the Cleveland Browns-Pittsburgh Steelers game on Monday night.

Chubb, 27, is thought to have torn multiple ligaments,according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, with an MRI on Tuesday set to confirm the injury.

The athlete was carted off the field, while Fitzpatrick suffered a chest injury on the play,according toUSA Today.

After a brief pause following the action, announcerJoe Buckshared with viewers that the replay would “not to be seen.”

AnalystTroy Aikmanreplied: “Yeah, we’re not going to show it. It’s as bad as you can imagine.”

Meanwhile, a replay shown on the video screen at the Steelers’ Acrisure Stadiumelicited gaspsfrom the crowd.

“Obviously, Nick’s got a very significant knee injury,”Stefanski told reporters.“He’s a great football player, as we know but he’s an even better person. We will support him every step along the way.”

On social media, many pro athletes shared their support for the four-time Pro Bowler.

“DAMN MAN!!!! Nick Chubb. Praying for the absolute best,”LeBron Jameswrote on X(formerly Twitter), while Baltimore Ravens quarterbackLamar Jackson wrote: “Prayers for Nick Chubb.”

Chubb’s alma mater, the University of Georgia,also sharedwell wishes: “Thinking of you @NickChubb.”

While a standout at Georgia, Chubb previously tore the PCL, MCL and LCL in the same knee during a game in 2015, per NFL.com.
