When Dick Grayson shows up and opens attack , the crossfire leads to Catwoman , Martha Wayne , and even finally Dick himself taking on the face of it fatal bullets , as a horrified Bruce watch the bloodletting unfold .
So now Booster ’s “ gift ” has caused Bruce Wayne to experience a life - commute trauma all over again — one that is now just as difficult to undo as the one that translate Bruce into Batman in the first place .
