CNet has reviewed the Archos Gmini400 , confirming my suspicions that it is indeed scientifically awesome . Sure it has some downside , like a less - than - nonrational port and no ability to multitask , but a 20 GB player the size of the iPod with the ability to spiel back video and an integrated CompactFlash slot ? What ’s not to love ?
Okay , maybe the sort of stinky battery is not to love , but I kind suspect that CNet flubbed the numbers when they said 10 hours of television and 5 time of day of audio playback . I ’m hoping they meant 10 and 15 . And for once the picture is deserving watching , if only to watch James Kim reel it around in his hands . ( Thanks , Old ! )

Update : The Archos web site says 5 60 minutes for telecasting , 10 hr for sound recording . Could be , should be well , but still hot .
