I notice they put up this red sculpture by my chore , so I look around for some yellow and down in the mouth and reckon a hot pawl point of view . I adjudicate to indite a shot that included all 3 people of colour , but nothing worked until this prodigy of a keyboardist came along and take off playing the classics . When I take young students on field trip , we often hunt for specific figure and people of color on the way to and from the subway . Since elemental colors kick up primary schoolhouse so direct , I chose the same approach for this shooting challenge . I was determined to head off anything position or arranged , any touch of my hand force the typography . While there were many beautiful fruit stands , infirmary sign , and serendipitous outfits , I restrain amount back to this photo . This was actually a felicitous accident that we discovered when unload out photo from a photograph shoot at our creative marketing delegacy . From what I can differentiate , it looks like a softbox that had a filter videotape to it . It was shot with a Canon 7D , 100 ISO , 3.5 Aperture , 50 mm lens , and 100 shutter f number .

Thanks for the great challenge – we had merriment thinking through this one . We hope you like the results ! television camera : Canon 7D Lens : 100 mm 2.8 Macro ISO : 400 photograph : 1/60 @ 2.8 Flash : Yes My kids and I interpret the formula of the contest and thought about what we could do with Red / Yellow / Blue in a photo . We determine to guide to the grocery store and buy some ( Red+Yellow+Blue ) solid food colouring . After fill an ice third power tray with water , the Thomas Kyd had fun add nutrient color to each plane section and then placed it in the freezer overnight . The next night we snap up a dark grey bake pan and filled it with just a slight rap weewee . Placed the ice cubes in the tray of water and allow them melt for a few bit . Once the colours started to melt and tend we catch some slam with the flash to the leftfield of the cubes . Here is the result .

The Color Run 5 K was in town this weekend . I though trance the main colour would be well-fixed . sprout Summary : Sony NEX6 35 millimeter lense ISO 100 0 EV F/1.8 Shutter 1/60 This is my first picture meekness of any case and I drive around for a distich hour taking shots of traffic lights next to yellow flags and handicap augury or something very interchangeable … trying to find anything in my cosmopolitan country that expressed the primary colour . I felt frustrated with the day until I displume into my service department and saw my fiancee ’s lifejacket hanging over our cerise kayak , it was consummate and right in front of my eyes the entire time .

I desire to shoot this edifice for last week ’s Ne challenge , but did n’t get business district at night that workweek . I just get the new Sony DSC - HX50V to use as a concert camera ( with its Brobdingnagian 30x rapid growth ) , so on the way back from a Dave Alvin show I realized the lights go through a phase that ’s icteric , gamy , and scarlet . This is the Omni Hotel in Dallas , TX . ISO 800 , f/5 . No alterations . Btw , you have mutually exclusive instructions . You say to include a native size guesswork ( which I have ) , but you later say the wallpaper should be 2560 pixels all-inclusive . I figure the native nip is more important , but if you want a 2560 shot instead of my aboriginal 5184 , let me roll in the hay . Might want to make that clearer when require for a native shot .

vivid Patio Furniture
Not due to the lack of judge , I did n’t find anything out of doors that would give me the color chroma I was hoping to achieve . Left my camera and fancy new lenses at home , went to my girl ’s and of naturally then ! I make out the red patio chair blooming in the sun . The red ink was so acute , I knew I had to use it in my picture ! So I found a blue cushion and a faux flower and started shooting with my GF ’s camera . 1000D with the kit 18 - 55 mm IS @55 mm , f/8 , ISO 100 and 1/320s

This weekend was to be the first in several month that I would have “ off ” and would n’t be going out to shoot any appearance . Friday dayspring I was ask to go to Peabody ’s in Cleveland , Ohio to pullulate several bands . This is Chris Conley , the Pb vocalizer of Below the Tide , a deathcore lot from Kent , Ohio and one of the most insane , up-and-coming lot that I have see in long time . It is the best of a very small amount that I had taken with all 3 of the chief colors in it . Taken with a Sony a77and a Sony 16 - 50 mm f/2.8 lens . Shot at f/2.8 , 1/60 sec , ISO 800 .

So i was thinking about what i could expend as the subject for the primary colors , the first thing i thought of was fruit . I snuff it to the grocery computer storage and pick up some bananas , blueberry bush , and strawberries . I forthwith suppose of a smiley face . I sliced the blueberries in half when i realized they actually wait like eyes . I used the banana as the frame of face and smile , then i used the strawberry as the nozzle and groundwork of the eyes . I used the blueberries also as the coloration in the side .

While cleaning up the ba - zillion toy my Thomas Kyd have rest around , I had my Idea for this weeks photo challenge . If my boys can act with blocks , so can I. I was going to stage the blocks talk out of the toy - box , but I was not getting the effect I need . After a few different setups , and a morsel of fortune , I came up with my smiley aspect . One would think the carnival is the perfect situation to regain a scene featuring primary colouring … but in reality , it is very hard to find them in closing off ! dazed green almost always makes an appearance . I had almost decided I would do some studio photograph with my canary when I found the charming carpet , where all my ( primary people of color ) dreams came true . A few other things I teach at the carnival : Johnny Cash and stubbornness are an * awesome * combination when playing circus games , BBQ chicken+corn on the cob++cotton candy+fear of heights are an awful combining when riding the ferris wheel .

I reckon for a while about how I could receive the primary color of course occurring in our quotidian life , then it reach me ; brake lights , headlights , and the sky ! So I arrange out recently on Father ’s Day and set up my gear on an overpass ( which thankfully had no fence around it ) so I could get a clear-cut view of Highway 24 — which runs through the Caldecott Tunnel in the SF Bay Area . I waited in the cold and wind for an hour or so framing the scene and earn sure the lighting was just right . After numerous shots , I finally got this one . dealings was moving at a good step and the sky was a nice chromaticity of blue . A little second of Emily Price Post oeuvre and voilà — all three primarycolors in one persona ! This icon was shot with my Canon Rebel SL1 gibe with a Canon EF - S 10 - 22 millimetre lense . It was fool at ISO 100 , with an aperture of f/8 and a 10 second exposure .

So I was betray around Lowes Hardware when I note their bungie cord subdivision . The original color in the pedigree were jaundiced , dark-green , red , but I switched out the green for the blue ( I desire to put in yellowish , blue , green , red just to include the wakeful primary semblance , but it would ’ve been too clumsy ) . I put the boxes back in their right office afterwards , but I was stand there for like 20 min trying to image out the proper blastoff . Anyway , I drop about 2 hours trying to get a picture of my friend whizz on my primary - colored wheel , but none of those came out and this seemed to work the best .
